Privacy Notice

The short version

This site uses no advertising cookies, does not track you across other websites, and never sells or rents your information. We collect only what you choose to type into a form, and we use it only to respond to you or to keep you updated as you asked.

Website analytics

This site does not currently run analytics. If we add it, we will choose a service that counts visits and popular pages without setting cookies or identifying individual visitors, and we will update this notice.

Forms

Our contact, newsletter, volunteer, program inquiry, sponsor and supporter forms collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number (optional), organization and message. Submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify, and are accessible only to authorized Brainstorms representatives.

• We do not send an automatic confirmation email.
• Forms use a hidden field that catches spam bots, plus automated spam filtering.
• Submissions are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted.
• Newsletter signups are used only to send Brainstorms updates. Ask us to unsubscribe at any time.

Donations

Online donations are processed by Zeffy. Your payment details go directly to Zeffy. We never see or store card numbers. Zeffy's handling of your information is described in the Zeffy privacy policy. Brainstorms receives your name, contact details and gift amount so we can thank you and provide a tax receipt.

Event registration

Some events link to registration pages run by our partners, such as public libraries. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which apply once you leave this website.

Children

Our website is intended for adults such as parents, educators, volunteers and supporters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.

Outside services

We share information only with the service providers that make this website work (website hosting and form storage, and Zeffy for donations), and only as needed to provide those services. We never sell personal information.

Contact

For questions, corrections or deletion requests, email info@brainstormsnpr.org or write to Brainstorms New Port Richey, Inc., P.O. Box 1111, New Port Richey, FL 34656.
